Abilitybound was established in the summer of 2004, the aim being to make sport and leisure activities more accessible to people, whatever their age or ability.
Inspired by problems that friends and family had in finding suitable recreational equipment and problems gaining access to many high street shops, the concept of abilitybound was born.
